"Seasons of waiting are difficult. They make me question myself and my authenticity. I doubt who I am. Am I an imposter? Maybe I’m not good enough. It easy for my head to fill up with doubt and insecurity. Easy to wait for the results to measure my worth. This is not who I am. This workshop has come at such a perfect time for me to ring truth into my ears about who I am. The first day I cried through the affirmations of the power I hold within myself. This is the best part. The workshop allows you to either remember or either realize for the first time that you already have all that you need. It’s a necessity for anyone in a period of waiting, wanting, or wishing. Don’t miss it. Lean in and love who you are."

"wow wow, filled with so much love and gratitude and appreciation over all of this!!! also, just did day 1 and 100000% cried during the mantra practice (and am currently in mid blast a song and sing/dance party 🤓) literally EVERYTHING about this is so up my alley and I know will be up so many other people’s alleys as well. and you can tell the heart and time and passion that went into every single element of creating this which I think makes it that much stronger and special.”

“Wow. This workshop feels like being wrapped in a big, soothing hug. The love and warmth that radiates from Caitlin as she guides you is so strong, and it makes you feel less alone on what is an often scary journey of self-discovery. Especially during a time when every hour, everything changes, and planning for the future - or even today - is scary, having these lessons as guideposts helps make it all seem a little more manageable. If there was ever a time to learn to trust ourselves and open our hearts to others, it's right now, and I can't think of a better person to guide us through that. Grateful doesn't begin to describe how I feel about having a place that welcomes self-work and encourages community in whatever way you can offer it. Thank you Caitlin + the FFB team for sharing your he(art) with us - and for choosing to see ours as they are right now. “

“The world we live in makes it so easy to loose sight of who we are. We're constantly focusing on things around us and comparing ourselves to others. This workshop is SO important. It's giving me a chance to step back and reflect on everything that makes me who I am! From experiences in my past to things I'm going through now, every day of this workshop has helped me to realize that I am exactly where I need to be and how BEAUTIFUL that is. Life isn't always easy, but when you're kind to yourself along the way, the journey will be so fulfilling. As someone who is currently sitting in a season where my future is unknown, I am excited to have this workshop and its exercises to go back to when I need to remind myself that my journey is my own. There is so much passion and heart behind every aspect of this workshop and I can't help but finish each day feeling lifted up and encouraged.”

“As I theatre maker I'm in constant search of other narratives. In an unprecedented time where most things seem to be out of my control, this workshop has given me the ability to set routine in practicing mindfulness and tranquility. "Discovering your He(art)" is a gift for yourself to reflect, to be present and to grow a better understanding of your own narrative. Thank you, Caitlin and FFB for this creative and empowered space!”

"As a performer, my body is my instrument in every sense of the word. It’s my vessel through which I story-tell, the foundation for my self-expression, and the one tool needed for work. Maintaining health and fitness is the key to keeping my instrument fueled and able to perform at its best. The healthier I am, the better I perform, simple as that”
- Ashley Park

“There’s no denying that fitness played a factor in how I got these parts... Now, with an 8 show week schedule, I feel lucky to have a regimented health and fitness routine to rely on to help keep me feeling strong and balanced... mentally and physically.”

Live Workshop | Dominick Amendum
“Throughout my 15+ years conducting shows on Broadway, National Tours, and in Major Theaters around the USA, I saw consistencies among the actors that were doing top-level work. Without fail they were the performers that exhibited the highest levels of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. These are the building blocks of a healthy performance career and it is no surprise that these are the actors that I continue to work with on a regular basis. In a profession that is oftentimes more "professional athlete" than "drama club" it is imperative that every cast member bring the healthiest version of themselves to the room each and every day. Those that understand the foundational importance of wellness are those that do the best work. Now, as I build a new BFA Program in Musical Theatre, I am delighted to be working with Jane to include in our curriculum what I know from the industry: wellness is not elective or optional, but is a mandatory building block of a well-rounded and healthy performer. Jane's work has been transformative and unique for our students and the importance of what she teaches cannot be overstated. As we train the next generation of performers it imperative that we invest in their wellness, health, and stability--both as people and performers--in order to allow them to reach their maximum potential. I plan to partner with Fit For Broadway for years to come to make this teaching an integrated part of our curriculum.”

"The biggest lifestyle shift I’ve experienced since the workshop is I'm more aware of my feelings and how I want to address them." // “My goal was to incite excitement around something new and different yet mindful and meaningful for anyone who might have a creative bone in their bodies. In my work I highly value creative professional development and advocate on a regular basis for the importance of that for certain populations, especially underserved in professional development. This workshop Jane has founded was a fantastic experience for our students and I cannot recommend you jumping on the creative experiential career enrichment bandwagon more!”

“The most meaningful moment was being told to 'Feel your feelings'. Growing up, I thought to show emotions, especially sadness, made you weak, but we need to be able to show vulnerability as actors and humans.”
